will be at a huge disadvantage) However if they’re less than 3 it will
count as a forfeit instead.
1.2 Each match consists of 3gps (12 races).
1.3
Custom voting is allowed, but no repeats. In case of a repeat -15
points deduction for the player’s team that repeated (Excluding random).
2. Rosters
2.1 Teams can register a maximum 25 player roster (25 fcs including alts).
2.2
Teams can register new players or delete players from their roster at
any given time, but cannot change players from one team to another in
the middle of a season (Players can't be deleted and readded for
another team during the same season either).
2.3 Teams found guilty of using players/friendcodes other than those registered to their rosters might be disqualified
2.4 Teams found guilty of knowingly using players registered to other teams will be disqualified.
2.5 Teams found guilty of knowingly using suspended or banned players will be disqualified.
3. Teams
3.1 Every national clan is allowed to sign up 2 teams with a maximum number of 25 registered players for each team.
3.2 Both teams of one clan can't be in the same division in the same season.
3.3 If one of the teams gets relegated to a division where their other team is in, then both of the teams gets relegated.
3.4
If one team of a clan is relegated to a division where their 2nd team
gets promoted from, the clans themselves can decide whether they want
to swap divisions (as they otherwise would) or if they want their teams
to stay in their divisions.
4. Player registration
4.1 Players who attempt to register for more than one team will be banned.
4.2
Players points will not be counted for their team should they play
using a name different to the one they registered at the start of the
season, with the exception of a highly recognizable name (meaning only
slightly different than the one registered).
4.3 Players who
attempt to register for a team which nation they're not from will be
banned, the team might get disqualified or banned as well.
5. Lineups
5.1 Teams can name a maximum of 9 players for their lineup and any 5 may represent that team for any gp.
6. War times
6.1
Wars are to take place at the WNL sheduled times unless both teams are
in agreement to play at a different time. (rule 7.1 applies)
7. Hosting
7.1
Hosting teams who fail to open their rooms within 10 minutes from the
scheduled time may lose that match by forfeit (at the division
administrators discretion).
7.2 Hosting teams are not to open
their rooms earlier than 10 minutes before the scheduled times, unless
it is with consent from the opposing team.
7.3 All players are
allowed a maximum 10 minutes to enter the room after it has been opened
or 10 minutes after the scheduled time (Should the room be opened
earlier than the scheduled time).
7.4 The host must not start
before the allowed 10 minutes waiting time should the opposition be
missing a player, unless consent from the opposition has been given.
7.5
The host must start the game after 10 minutes has passed from the time
of opening the room or after 10 minutes from the scheduled time (should
the room be opened earlier than the scheduled time) regardless of how
many players from each team are present, unless consent from the
opposing team has been given.
7.6 The host should wait a minimum
of 1 minute and a maximum of 5 minutes between gps, unless consent from
the opposition has been give to resume earlier or to wait longer.
7.7 Host teams who break rules 6.2, 6.4, 6.5 or 6.6 will be banned from hosting (at the division administrators discretion).
7.8
Should the host disconnect the room to allow missing team mate(s) to
join, or to change their lineup or for any reason considered as an
intentional disconnection to manipulate the rules then that team will
be banned from hosting (at the division administrators discretion)
7.9 Should disconnections be frequent with a particular host then the host player will be banned from hosting.
7.10
Should teams report a host as having extreme lag then the host player
will be banned from hosting (at the division administrators discretion).
8. Disconnection rules
8.1
If a player disconnects before the first race of a gp (one player
missing at the course selection screen) then the host must restart the
room.
8.2 If a player disconnects in the middle of a race, the
GP must continue, but the player will get all the pts he managed to get
plus an additional 3pts for every race he didn't finish.
8.3 If
someone disconnects in the last race of a GP, he will only get as many
pts he managed to get from the first 3 races, but no additional pts.
8.4
Proof of how many points a person got before he got disconnected might
be needed, but if the majority of the players in the room agrees on how
many he had, I might accept it.
8.5 Disconnections in the first 3 races of a gp does not count towards your individual scores.
9. Hacking and Glitching
9.1
Hacking & glitching (including Mushroom Gorge, Wario's Gold Mine,
Grumble Volcano, Bowser's Castle and unknown glitches) are strictly
forbidden, but every other shortcut is obviously allowed (including the
GBA Bowser Castle 3 shortcut or the Grumble Volcano shortcut right
after the 4 moving platforms).
9.2 Anyone proved guilty of hacking or using any glitches will be banned from the tournament.
9.3 Person found guilty of hacking during the WNL may (at the WNL staff discretion) cause the disqualification of their team.
9.4
If you believe someone has been hacking, please take contact with me in
private, and I will see what ways can be done to get him caught. That
is, if he’s a hacker. People accusing others of hacking in the thread
may be banned from the tournament.
10. Player shortage
10.1 Teams will be given 10pts per player they are missing at the commencement of any GP.
11. Substitutions
11.1 Any number of substitutions between the 9 players named in the teams lineup may be made between GP’s.
11.2
Should a team wish to make a substitution then a member of that team is
to leave the room between GP’s to indicate to the host that a
substitution is due to be made.
11.3 A maximum of 5 minutes is allowed for teams to make substitutions.
11.4
The GP must be started immediately after the 5 minutes waiting time,
regardless of how many players are in the room (unless consent is given
from the opposition to wait longer).
11.5 The host must not
start the game before the allowed 5 minutes waiting time should a
player be missing (unless the opposition gives their consent to start).
Teams who start the game with an opposing player missing before the
allowed 5 minutes without consent may lose that war by forfeit and will
be banned from hosting.
12. Tags
12.1
All players of the same team are to use identical tags to each other at
the beginning of their names. Players who fail to display their tag
correctly incur a 10 point penalty for their team.

13.1 Teams who lose by forfeit will do so by 200-0.
13.2
Teams who forfeit twice during a season will be instantly relegated to
the division below or disqualified if there is no division below.
13.3 Teams who forfeit 3 times during a season will be disqualified.
13.4
Teams who forfeit intentionally either through there being little
significance of the results (the end of the season) or to help other
teams will be disqualified.
14. Results
14.1 The host team is to post the result of their match within 24hrs of the matches completion including individual totals.
14.2
Host teams are responsible for taking pics, in case they haven’t taken
pics of the results in all 3 GPs, they might lose that war by forfeit.
(Unless the opposing team posts pics from the results or agrees to
reschedule the match)
14.3 If evidence is presented supporting a
claim that an away team is witholding pictures purposefully to prevent
the host team from winning, then the host team will win that match by
forfeit.
15. Incomplete War
15.1 Should
teams have an acceptable reason for not being able to complete a war
then any GP’s remaining will be replayed (at the division
administrators discretion).
15.2 Should a team be unwilling to
complete a war without good reason then the scores for the GP(s) that
there is/are proof for will be counted as the final result, providing
the result doesn’t favour the team who were unwilling to continue.
15.3 Teams will lose by forfeit should they be unwilling to complete a war without good reason and no GP’s have been completed.
16. Replays
16.1
Any outstanding GP’s are to be replayed at a time agreed by the two
teams before their next scheduled WNL match. If a time cannot be agreed
between the two teams then any outstanding GP’s will be replayed at a
time decided by the division administrator or at the same time
originally scheduled 1 day before their next WNL match.

staff discretion) but not during the same season in which they were
disqualifed.
18.3 Disqualified teams permitted to rejoin will join in a division lower than the one they were disqualified from.
